Pack Event

Come join us for our Fall Campout at Schiff Scout Reservation. We reserved the Bear campsite which is close to the restrooms and has wooden platforms for your tent.  This is a sleepover weekend from Friday October 17th to Sunday October 19th. Registration will close at midnight Sunday, October 12th due to food planning needs.  

Price - $45/person attending, includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday October 18th and breakfast on Sunday October 19th. Please eat before arriving on Friday.

We will be sending an e-mail with a list of suggested camping supplies which can be helpful to those who may be new to camping. Your den leaders are also a great resource to ask about camping needs. 

All parents attending must complete their YPT (Youth Protection Training) if they have not already done so. This is required even if you are not sleeping over. Once you complete your YPT, print out a copy of the completion certificate and bring it to your den leader or e-mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. All people attending must also complete the BSA Medical form B1 and B2. This form must also be printed and given to your den leader or at the sign-up. These forms only need to be completed once per year.

Come join us for our Night Hike at Connetquot State Park at 6PM on Friday November 7th. Explore the sights, sounds, and smells of the night, and learn how nocturnal animals find their way in the darkness.   

Price - $4/person which goes to the NY Parks Department
