Wolves

The Wolves consist of second graders.  The Wolves meets at least twice a month and participates in monthly pack night events.  As a Wolf the Cub Scouts will work on Achievements and Electives.  Along the way various belt loops may be earned in the Academic or Sports areas.

 

Goals:

  • Earning the Wolf Cub badge

  • Earning one or more Arrow Points for electives

  • Participating in the Cub Scout Academics & Sports Program

  • Consider earning the God & Country Award

  • Consider earning one or more of the Other Awards available to Cub Scouts

  • Enjoying the Wolf Cub year and completing the year with the desire to become a Bear Cub!

 

Advancements:

Wolf Scouts do adventures described in their Wolf handbook that advance them towards their Wolf rank. By completing seven adventures, the Wolf rank is earned.

 

Requirements:

  1. Complete each of the following Wolf required adventures with your den or family:

    1. Call of the Wild

    2. Council Fire

    3. Duty to God Footsteps

    4. Howling at the Moon

    5. Paws on the Path

      Running With the Pack

  2. Complete one Wolf elective adventure of your den or family's choosing from this list: Adventures in Coins, Air of the Wolf, Code of the Wolf, Collections and Hobbies, Cubs Who Care, Digging in the Past, Finding Your Way, Germs Alive!, Grow Something, Hometown Heroes, Motor Away, Paws of Skill, Spirit of the Water.

  3. With your parent or guardian, complete the exercises in the pamphlet How to Protect Your Children From Child Abuse: A Parent's Guide and earn the Cyber Chip award for your age.*
